My all time favorite sauce, hands down, is alfredo sauce. I love everything about it. I love the creaminess and how it compliments anything. Most of all I love how I can whip up this easy recipe before the noodles are finished cooking, and it taste like it has been simmering all day.
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 11/2 cups fresh grated parmescan
- 1/2 cup mozzarella
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp nutmeg
- In your pot simmer your butter and heavy cream together until your butter dissolves, and you can see ltiny bubbles forming (2 – 3 minutes). Add your cheeses, and seasonings stirring slowly. The cheese will melt within 5 minutes.Continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
