Hey yall, it’s been a while since my last post. I have been a little under the weather from the latest bug, and it took me a little longer to bounce back than normal.
I bought us a little something while I talked to you.

If you are suffering from any illnesses or taking medications, please go get your vaccines. I already know you saying “SHUT UP!!” but I almost thought I would have to go to the hospital. That little bug took me out for over 2 weeks, and I am here to tell you it isn’t a game. We had to get tested for Covid, and I went through hell and back. Today is the second day of me holding down food, and I am nervous because I don’t want to be on bended knee to the porcelain throne again.
That stomach bug was a doozy, and I wasn’t able to eat anything. I couldn’t stand the smell of food; I’m trying to get back to normal as fast as I can. I have so much stuff I haven’t done. I feel like I’m trying to get back into my groove, but I’m having trouble finding my beat.
I started making Executive Decisions about life and buckled down to getting my Flu Shot. I can’t go through anything like that stupid stomach bug. I thought I had Covid, flu, cold, allergies, and got hit with the ugly stick. I have upped my vitamins and trying to hold down as much fluid as I can. I have to go ahead and set up my vaccine appointment. I usually don’t do Flu Shots… yall it really messed me up.
I kept smudging the house with white sage to keep it purified. Yes, I love White Sage, I love everything about it, and I love the healing properties that it possesses.

It can turn negative vibes into positive, and it makes you feel better when you are sick.. it gives off this clean smell. So heads up, if you come to visit me, you may walk into a white sage aroma. Breathe deep, Buttercup!
Oh, and guess what we have headed our way, a hurricane. Yeap, we call him Hurricane Ian, and that little booger is tearing up Florida like a baby eating chocolate. It’s a MESS! If you have a chance, take time and look up Naples, Florida. That’s all I got to say…
On that note, I must get going because we must start preparing for Hurricane Ian. We have to bring in the trash cans, bolt stuff down, and I have to prepare some food, wash some clothes, and do little chores so I won’t have anything to worry about. The last thing someone needs to worry about is clean underwear and filling up your tummy with a hurricane.

Ok yall, I am sending you the Warmest, Biggest Hug I can give with a Big Ole Smile. I will be blogging more, I know I always say that, and I love you for putting up with me.
Your Friend Always,
Ivey
