I love the smell of different stovetop fragrances, and when I’m cleaning, it sets the mood for me to get into the cleaning spirit. These aromas are not just for cleaning, but I love how they make the entire house smell amazing within 30 minutes.

The thing about stovetop potpourri is that you can use many fruits, spices, flowers, and oils to create fabulous blends, and it budget-friendly. Think about it, how often do you throw fruits away because they have been set in your fruit tray or refrigerator, never to be eaten? Well… boil them!!

All you have to do is get out a pot; I love a big soup pot and a few fruits, herbs, flowers, oils, and let the magic begin.

Directions

Regardless of which stovetop creation you decide to create, make sure that you use a pot large enough to hold all the ingredients and water. Make sure that you check your pot every hour and refill as needed. Please keep it on a nice simmer. You do not want to boil the ingredients, and it will smell like WHAT DID YOU DO! That is all you have to do.

Citrus Delight

This aroma is light and crisp with a citrus appeal. It’s very refreshing to me, like a Bright Spring Morning.

This is the smell of spring after a grand Spring Cleaning. I have added a cinnamon stick from time to time to give it a spicy, clean aroma. I love this smell when the entire house is clean, and I have aired out the house. It just smells fabulous.
