Homemade Turkey Salad

What is better than leftover turkey? How about homemade turkey salad? It is a great way to use your leftover turkey and a delicious addition to your menu! You can have turkey salad as a sandwich, with crackers, atop celery or cucumbers, or mixed in with pasta.

Some people don’t like relish in their turkey salad.

If you aren’t a fan of relish, you are more than welcome to omit it, but have you ever tried crushed walnuts or sliced grapes in your turkey salad? What about some nice raisins? Don’t knock it until you try it!

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups cooked shredded turkey
  • 2 stalks celery diced
  • 1 large sweet onion diced
  • 1 Bell pepper (any color) diced
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sea salt (any salt is fine)
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sweet relish

Instructions
 

  • This will be the best direction in the world.
    Mix everything in a large bowl, chill for at least 30 minutes.
