Easy Seafood Boil
makingparadiseathome
This is a quick go to when you want the seafood boil experience but without the hassle of a list of elaborate ingredients. Trust me this is fail proof with plenty of flavor.
- 3 can of beer any flavor I use Coors
- Any seafood of your choice
- Whole garlic
- Whole onion
- 3 bay leaves
- Zatarain’s Crab and Shrimp boil concentrate
- 2 cups of water
- 6 ears of corn
- 6 yellow potatoes or red potatoes
Bring beer and water to a boil
Add the whole onion, whole garlic, bay leaves, and a 1/2 teaspoon of the Crab and Shrimp Boil Concentrate.
Add potatoes and corn to pot, reduce heat to medium high. Cook for 15 minutes. (Optional if you have sausages, boil them with the potatoes and corn)
Add your seafood. Crab, mussels, crawfish, shrimp, clams, and continue to boil for 20-25 minutes
Drain your seafood and you are ready to eat. I sprinkle my seafood with
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Lemon pepper
Kosher salt
You can also whip up a quick sauce using
2 sticks of melted butter
1 Tablespoon Lemon pepper
1 Tablespoon Garlic powder
1 Tablespoon of Old Bay
Melt butter on the stove, add seasonings and in 5 minutes the sauce is ready.
Enjoy!
